Finding Some Extra Time

As expected, last night was a lot of fun! It’s such a great feeling to have a conversation when you’re totally on the same page. We got home really late and my voice was totally hoarse from how much talking I did at the pub, so I’ll take that as an indicator of a good night. I’ve spent the majority of this Sunday taking it easy and resting so that by the time Monday rolls around it won’t be too hard to convince me to get some work done.

I’ve been looking at the calendar a lot recently and trying to find some extra time that I can book in holidays or projects at home. June is looking fairly open and I think it might be a good opportunity for us to paint the walls in the living room/kitchen. I’m dying to get rid of these pastel green walls so hopefully we’ll be able to cover them up by the end of June! There’s something going on every month this year and I’m trying not to get stressed out. I think I’ve written before about how much I love sending cards to people but it’s also difficult keeping up with the seemingly endless stream of birthdays and holidays. There’s got to be a great (and diverse) set of cards out there that I can buy to last me a whole year, right? Honestly I think I ought to do some research and see if I can save a bit of money in the stationery department.

Today I got my husband to watch Osmosis Jones with me and I have come to the conclusion that it is the best movie to watch while sick. Not only is it just a great movie, but it teaches you about the immune system in the process! I was so shocked to learn that my husband hadn’t seen the movie but thankfully he really enjoyed it in the end.

Man, I hope I can muster up the energy to tackle more of my assignments tomorrow. Time is ticking and I really need to get my act together. Anyway, that’s all I’ve got today. See you tomorrow!
