Another day, another DIY! The upright shelving system I ordered earlier in the week was delivered today so I spent most of my time clearing out the cupboard under the stairs to make room. Turns out we have a ton of stuff under there and now it’s all in our hallway until we can get the shelves put up.

For dinner tonight we went over to Alex’s parents’ house for a little pizza party to celebrate a milestone in his and his dad’s company. Honestly any excuse to eat pizza is fine by me! It was nice to get together with the in-laws and our friend Simon (who now works at the new start-up company, too!) to celebrate and also just have a little chinwag, too.

This weekend looks like it’s going to be another packed one for us. Tomorrow we’re installing the shelf brackets and hopefully picking up the shelf boards if they’re ready to collect, and on Sunday I think we might have one of Alex’s sisters and her partner around at some point. I need to figure out when I can go to the studio to resume my mould making but I’m not sure if I can do it this weekend or if I ought to go on Tuesday instead.
