A Good Breeze

There have been so many DIYs, projects and gadgets that have made a huge impact on my life to the point where I’m left scratching my head as to why it took me so long to do it or buy it. After one night’s sleep with a ceiling fan during this UK heatwave, I think I’ve got to add the ceiling fan to that list. It sounds silly but it really did make a huge difference in my sleep because the wind from the fan covered the whole room, not just a portion of it. And it was constant! Usually with desk fans the coverage isn’t great, and if the head of the fan oscillates it can be annoying to feel the breeze off and on through the night. I’m really in love with our new ceiling fan. I can’t believe we didn’t install it sooner because it’s already made such an impact. I was saying to Alex this morning that we ought to put a ceiling fan in the dining room next because it might help our clothes dry a little faster!

Okay that’s enough praise for ceiling fans. Other notable things about today include watering the plants and me getting a nice bit of work done. I’ve got to order new business cards soon so I’ve been trying to come up with a new design and I think I’ve got it looking pretty good so far! And aside from work, Alex and I watched a movie after dinner called The Craft: Legacy and as far as reboots/sequels go it wasn’t too bad. We both agreed that we liked the characters and thought the story was pretty interesting. There were some pretty bad CGI moments towards the end but overall I enjoyed it!

Right, that’s it for today! I keep feeling like it’s already the end of the week! See you tomorrow!
