So I may or may not have spent the entirety of my day watching a play through of the game Until Dawn. Yep. I’m an adult and this is how I decided to spend my Wednesday!
Okay, I’m kind of fudging the truth, but only just a teensy bit. I spent most of my day watching the Let’s Play, but I promise you I really didn’t get up to very much besides that. I went to the gym, made a (scrumptious!) vegetarian curry (featuring lentils and chickpeas), and finally got around to calling Smeg about our malfunctioning dryer (i.e. I asked my husband to call on my behalf).
It was such a beautiful day that I almost feel a bit bad for spending so much time inside with the curtains drawn and my face practically glued to my laptop. I’m glad I was able to catch a little bit of the day when I headed out to the gym, and I even managed to convince myself to take a detour through the park! I have to admit, taking a photo every day for over a month now has made me realize that I really need to branch out and explore more places. I’m beginning to get sick of seeing the same stuff and trying to create new shapes and angles out of it!
Saying that makes it seem like I don’t do much, which is totally untrue. It’s just difficult to show all of my hours spent browsing the internet (researching interior design, reading news articles, watching videos) with photographs. Plus, if I did take a photo like that every day I would be bored out of my mind after just one day.
Perhaps I ought to plan and stage more photos, but I just really love taking photos that document the weather, my mood, and what I got up to that day. I would really love to take more portraits, though! I’m very shy when it comes to asking people to be in my photos. Add that to the list of things I need to improve!
