Ooh boy, I’m definitely cutting this journal entry close!! We just got home from having a spontaneous dinner with my in-laws. It had been a while since we last saw them so it was really nice to be able to catch up and pick their brains for some home renovation advice. I just have so many questions when it comes to renovating our bathroom. Do we save up for everything first? Should we take out a loan? When do we pay for it? How much should we budget for labour costs? Seriously, so many questions. Luckily my in-laws were able to give some really useful advice and help us mentally prepare for our next steps!

Anyway, it’s been a really lovely Monday. The sun was out all day and I actually managed to get out of bed at a reasonable time, plus I did a little bit of plant maintenance in the afternoon. We have a satin pothos up on a wall in the living room and it’s gotten so long that it needed a little bit of attention. I meant to measure it but I totally forgot! Maybe next time!
