I went to the studio today to check on the candles I poured the other day and the good news is that they don’t look as terrible as the last batch so that must mean the humidity was the issue. Still, the surface of the candles looked somewhat velvety which tells me the humidity still needs to be lower in the studio. I managed to get the surfaces looking better with a heat gun but I also ordered another dehumidifier. I’m really hoping that the next batch I make with the new dehumidifier will be fine and I won’t have to fix anything after the fact!

Tomorrow I’ve got my second weigh-in and I’m supposed to be something like ten pounds lighter but LOL to that! Honestly I can’t believe they scheduled this weigh-in for the Monday after a long weekend full of bbqs. Pretty rude if you ask me. I’m not sure how the results will make me feel so cross your fingers I’m not phased by it. I’ve got a product launch tomorrow afternoon so I don’t really have time to mope or whatever.
