Writing to you today from the comfort of the sofa after having watched three movies back-to-back. It’s been a pretty chill Saturday, which I’m quite thankful for since the weather has been incredibly dismal. Yesterday was such an off day for me after my nightmare. I almost didn’t make it to the gym, but luckily my husband was able to convince me to go with him but I think he may have regretted that decision after the workout I made us do!
Today was a day for doing laundry, changing bed linens, hoovering floors, and finally getting around to scrubbing the lining of the shower door. I tell you what, as much as I hate the term ‘domestic goddess’ I must admit that I have become exactly that over the last year or so, but it’s no walk in the park. I get so frustrated about the tiniest things nowadays — soap scum, for instance — resulting in a frightening amount of bizarre google searches. What can I say? I enjoy taking pride in my home!
One of the three films we watched today was The End of the Tour, starring Jesse Eisenberg as David Lipsky and Jason Segel as David Foster Wallace. I really enjoyed how the film was kind of like a buddy comedy, except more depressing and anxious. Check it out if you love Jason Segel because I guarantee you that you’ll come away appreciating him even more.
Anyway, that’s all I have for you today. I think tomorrow we’re planning on walking through town and hitting up a Vintage Fair, so hopefully the weather is nice and I can get some good pictures out of it. See you then!
