The early bird always gets the worm, or in my case, the early bird always gets stressed out from turning in assignments earlier than originally planned. I was hoping to submit my technical drawing assignments on Thursday evening just incase I had to resubmit any of them because then I would have ten days to do it, but I got a little bit ahead of myself. I was so excited about finishing my technical drawings that I went ahead and submitted them without thinking. So hopefully my tutor doesn’t make me resubmit either of them or if she does she’ll wait until later this week to tell me so I have a bit of extra time to relax first. I know, I know, this isn’t really an issue. For all I know I could very well pass this module and move on to the next one.
I feel a bit better than I did yesterday, although now that my husband and I have just gone over our plans for this weekend in London I do feel stressed. I’m not entirely sure whether or not we should cancel our complimentary breakfast with the hotel although we looked at their breakfast menu and there were hardly any vegetarian options aside from granola and fruit. I’ve been craving another veggie full English from The Natural Kitchen so if we call up tomorrow and learn that the only options are eggs, fruit, and granola I think it’s safe to say that we have our decision. I was just really looking forward to having breakfast in bed, so it’s a bit annoying that our hotel doesn’t have the best breakfast options for vegetarians, but I guess I’ll survive haha.
Another thing we’re trying to decide on is what we want to do while we’re in London. We have a few things planned – afternoon tea at Sketch, shopping at Westfield, pizza at Homeslice – but I’m not sure about the rest of the time we’ll be there, honestly. I would love to go to a museum but I would also like to go to a market, so it’s really become a matter of picking and choosing.
I don’t think I’ll be too upset if we spend all of Saturday shopping and then go back to the hotel and fall asleep watching a movie, although it would be good to know what stuff we absolutely must do while we’re there over the weekend.
