I’ve stolen away a few minutes while everyone watches Hocus Pocus to write today’s journal entry, so hopefully you can appreciate how dedicated I am to this project! We’re having a party later so I thought it’d be better if I did my entry sooner rather than later.

Yesterday was such a busy day for me and I’m truly amazed at the fact that I was able to accomplish every single thing on my to-do list. I woke up very early and basically I didn’t stop doing stuff until about 10pm. My back is killing me but I think it was worth it. I made candy apples, zombie brain rice krispie treats, and I even managed to ice something like thirty-four cookies. The biggest issue was having enough space in the fridge for everything!

Jude and Ashley are here this weekend for our Halloween party so today we’ve been pottering around the house putting up decorations, and by “we” I definitely mean me, haha! Not that they haven’t offered to help, it’s just that I’m very particular when it comes to this sort of stuff. Everything is pretty much ready to go apart from the zombie punch which I’m sure we’ll whip up closer to the time of the party. After I finish off this journal entry I’m going to figure out what I’m wearing and then do my makeup for my cat costume. Did I mention how excited I am? I’m also looking forward to cuttin’ loose with my friends, something that I don’t regularly get to do.

I suppose that’s all I’ve got for you today! I’m planning on taking lots of pictures this evening so I’ll likely include those with tomorrow’s entry. Hopefully my instax gets a lot of good use tonight! Those photos always look so impressive, even if they don’t come out super great, haha.
