Our Halloween party last night was such a success! The flat looked so cool with all of the lights and decorations on display, plus the snack table looked really awesome, too. Halloween parties are hands down my favorite parties to throw and also to attend. It’s great seeing everyone’s costumes and playing drinking games while Monster Mash plays on loop in the background. I’m sure next year’s Halloween party will be even better than this year but I’m very happy with the way the night unfolded.
It’s probably pretty obvious, but we drank a lot of alcohol last night so today was spent recovering from a full-body hangover. Jude and Ashley caught the train to head back up to Manchester and once they left we decided to go to Guildford and see if we could find me a new winter coat. Unfortunately for me, we didn’t find any coats that ticked all the boxes so we grabbed a late lunch and then went to see Trolls at the cinema. The movie was cute and had a great message, plus the animation was super impressive.
Now we’re chillin’ at home and winding down for the evening. October is nearly over, which means I’ll be doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) for the whole of November. Since I have a 30-day deadline to write a 50,000 word novel, I hope you’ll understand if my journal entries are a little more condensed than usual. I’m expecting I’ll be using all of my energy to hit my daily word count so it makes sense that I wouldn’t have the patience to write a whole bunch more after that, hah!
Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for you today. As promised, I took photos at the party last night and I’m really pleased with how they turned out. Also make sure you watch VEDO #29 because it features some very silly videos from our ragin’ Halloween party. See you tomorrow!
