We went to the studio today and made some candles. After the last batch of Spiced Pumpkin candles cooled a little weird, I wanted to have another go and see if my large wax melter would help me fix the problem. I ended up pouring three scents: Spiced Pumpkin, Baked Apple, and Orange & Cinnamon and with any luck they’ll turn out okay! I made sure to turn on the space heater before we left so I’m hoping that helps a bit, too.

It was nice to get out and make some candles. I feel like I’ve been struggling with candlemaking a lot this year and it’s been super frustrating having to troubleshoot all of the issues. Sometimes it feels like all I can do is fail, but at least I’m trying. Anyway, I’ll go back to the studio in a few days and see how the candles turned out!
