Today has been go-go-go since we got up and frankly it’s been stressful! We went to the studio first thing and then we got home and continued tidying and decorating for my party tomorrow. I’ve gotten to the point where I have a lot of great Halloween decorations so I don’t find myself needing to buy a bunch of decorations each year because I already have plenty. It’s exciting to look through my stash of Halloween goodies and figure out where I want everything to go.

We took a break and went to ASDA to get supplies for the party tomorrow. I think we spent over a hundred pounds on food and drink so at least if no one comes I’ll be able to eat some tasty food and get wasted!! After we got home Alex made dinner and I continued to decorate, and once we had some food we started bleaching my hair. Bleaching took a really long time but I think it came out pretty good, and then we covered it with green dye and now I’m just waiting for my hair to soak it all up so I can wash it out and go to sleep. As I’m writing this it’s nearly half past two in the morning (don’t worry, I’ve post-dated this journal entry for the 30th of September).

Tomorrow we have so much to do. Lots of tidying and decorating, carving a pumpkin, making dips and focaccia, and making drinks, too. Oh boy.
