We finally made a gingerbread house tonight! This is probably one of the holiday traditions I like the best because it’s a great way to flex your creativity and you also get a nice treat out of it, too. Alex spent the majority of the day resting up so he’d have the mental energy to decorate the gingerbread house with me and it turned out great. It’s just a kit from Lidl so I wasn’t expecting much but it came with some adorable little decorations made out of icing! I’m going to try to wait until the new year before we break it down and start eating it so for now it’s just decorative. Fingers crossed the cats don’t get to it first!
