It’s already the second month of the year? Since when did time move so quickly, eh??

Welcome to the first Monday of February in 2016. How did you spend your day? Hopefully you got outside for a bit, or at the very least watched something good on TV. Incase you were wondering, my day has been pretty productive! I woke up early, crossed a lot of stuff off of my to-do list, and also managed to go to the gym without much delay.

I am a little annoyed that our washer/dryer has stopped drying our clothes again. We had a repairman come around a few weeks ago and his diagnosis was that the safety mechanism is getting tripped due to overheating and that if it happens again we may need to order a new part. Just little homeowner things, really. So I’ve got to make sure to ring up Smeg tomorrow to get this all taken care of because I’m desperate to do my laundry! Seriously, though. I want fluffy towels.

In other news, there has been a lot of drama unfolding in the #YouTubeLandscape over the last few days, so if you’re looking for something juicy to sink your teeth into, may I suggest reading this article? Grab some popcorn. It gets real interesting.

Other than that, I don’t have much to say apart from the fact that today I discovered that my 50mm lens needs a very thorough cleaning. It turns out that any photos set above f8 show flecks of debris all over, but I have yet to find a successful way to safely clean the lens. I hope it’s just dust or dirt and not scratches, though! I’ve had this lens for about seven years now so cross your fingers that it doesn’t need to be replaced just yet.
