Fun Week Ahead

It’s been a pretty relaxed Sunday over here. Did the weekly food shop, finally got around to washing the windows and tidying up the patios, and spent a huge chunk of time watching Happy Endings and building apartments in Sims 4. My husband and I had a little afternoon tea at home, which was such a nice way to spend time together on an otherwise uneventful Sunday.

This upcoming week is shaping up to be a lot of fun! Tuesday is my husband’s twenty-fifth birthday so we’re celebrating by having brunch with his parents and then taking the train to London in the afternoon and seeing Animal Collective perform in the evening. Neither of us ever know how to celebrate our own birthdays but at least we can rely on each other to come up with something entertaining. I think it’ll be really great for us to get out of town, grab some pizza, drink a few drinks, and dance to some experimental pop music! I don’t think I can bring my camera with me to the gig, so I’m going to write up my journal entry earlier in the day just incase I’m too tired when we get home that night.

So that’s what’s happening during the week, but at the weekend we’re going trampolining and then having a pizza party with friends and family! I think we’re both super excited for Saturday because you can’t really go wrong with a pizza party, can you? We’re having some friends stay over afterward so obviously we’re won’t be getting much sleep! If there’s one thing I have to do before the weekend it’s tidy this flat. You would be absolutely amazed at the amount of fur balls we find on a daily basis from our one short-haired cat, and as someone who has never quite enjoyed vacuuming I really have to motivate myself to do it at all.

Anyway, I’m really looking forward to this week. Hopefully I’ll hear back about the assignments I submitted on Friday and then I’ll be able to move forward in the course or resubmit anything that missed the mark.
