It’s pretty late but today has been a very full day for me. Mary’s staying with us for a little over a week and so I made cleaning my top priority today! It always feels good to give the flat a nice scrub down every once in a while, especially since we’ve got two cats who seem to shed infinite amounts of fur. I managed to tidy the flat just in time for Mary’s arrival, as well as bake another batch of chocolate cupcakes.

This evening we had a meeting with our neighbors about the mold in the basement. The meeting itself went very well, however the subject matter felt very heavy. Basically we’re all on the same page but now we have to chase some people and make some things happen within a very short timeline in order to ensure things go our way. It’s annoying, to say the least, but at least it went well!

Tomorrow I think I might go to the gym in the evening with my husband. My original plan was to go on Friday in the morning before we leave for Manchester, however I’m thinking we might leave a little earlier than we originally planned due to the traffic on the M25. I’m not that fussed about traffic, but I don’t want to arrive in Manchester at 10pm after a full day driving! Hopefully we don’t hit much traffic at all and find ourselves in Manchester right on time in the end.

I’m really looking forward to this weekend, despite feeling a little on edge today. I think running around and tidying the house has worked me up a little bit and I think I need to chill out and not be so high strung about certain things. Everything’s going to work out in the end so I might as well enjoy the ride, right?

I haven’t decided if I’ll be streaming on twitch tomorrow, but if I do I’ll be streaming at 3pm BST. I’m going to wrap it up for now and I’ll see you tomorrow!
