Gossip Girl Season

And who am I?
That’s one secret I’ll never tell…
You know you love me!
Gossip Girl

One of my favorite autumn traditions is re-watching all six seasons of Gossip Girl. I can’t think of a better way to fill the mid-season gaps than by watching Blair take down Little J all over again! Cat fights and love triangles aside, there’s one other thing that Gossip Girl does excellently: seasons. Since the show takes place in New York City there are so many opportunities for beautiful scenery and sweeping shots of Manhattan. Gossip Girl is, in my opinion, one of the best shows out there. It’s just so iconic, cringey, and most importantly, watchable.

Gossip Girl marathon aside, I finished the second assignment in my module today. I had to create an A3 presentation board of the lighting fixtures I had chosen for the design brief, but yesterday I was getting hung up on how I wanted to display them. In the end I pulled it together and it doesn’t look half bad! Tomorrow I’ll move on to the next assignment, which I think might be to draw a light plan but I’m not entirely sure. It think I might do better to do the assignment in InDesign rather than draw it by hand which ought to make things a bit easier for me. If not I’ll have to take a bit more time for everything but I think I could still submit my assignments by the end of the week at the rate I’m going.

Man, after my workout yesterday I am feeling so wrecked. I went to bed at 10:30 last night and slept in until 9am but even that wasn’t enough. I’m looking forward to my arm workout tomorrow so cross your fingers that I’m not feeling as sore!

In other news, I made a new video today. In the video I basically bring up some of my anxieties surrounding my birthday (which is in exactly 3 weeks) and share some anecdotes. It’s a pretty chill video so I hope it sheds some light on this annual conflict I experience around this time of year, haha. Anyway, I’m going to leave the video below and I’ll see you tomorrow!
