Pumpkin Determination

Did anyone else have weird dreams last night, or was it just me? I don’t want to go into details but I’m pretty sure I cried in my sleep because I was so sad. Not to worry, though, because everything’s fine for me in real life! As a matter of fact, today hasn’t been too shabby. I had a lovely bubble bath courtesy of one of the bath bombs my husband got me for my birthday, and then sometime later I went to Marks & Spencer and bought a plaid skirt. It never occurred to me that one day I might spend nearly £30 on a plaid skirt, and yet it still happened. In all honesty, I needed a plaid skirt to really take my autumn look to A New Level™.

I feel like September has flown by at an alarming rate, but really I’m just super excited about Halloween now that October is on the horizon. I’ve got a rough idea of the rest of the bits I need to collect in order to fully transform the flat into a haunted house for our Halloween party, although I’m still wrestling with the idea of DIYing something other than pumpkins. Speaking of which, I really hope I can go pumpkin picking! I don’t know if I’ve ever been to a pumpkin patch, but I would love to go this year. Hardly any of the shops around here carry pumpkins, let alone big ones fit for carving. It’s quite sad, actually, which is why I’m determined to find a pumpkin patch around here somewhere.

Tomorrow I think we’re planning on going to the pub with a friend, and it’s perfect timing since I’ve been hankerin’ for a good pint of ale for the last week or so. Plus it’ll be good to catch up and be a bit social, too. Anyway, that’s about all I’ve got for you this evening. See you tomorrow!
