Installing Shelves and Design Consultations

This journal entry is going up really late, and that’s mainly because we’re still in the process of installing shelves for our new media unit! In hindsight, I definitely think this project would have been better to tackle on the weekend, and I bet our neighbors feel the same way. With that being said, the media unit is looking really snazzy and I can’t wait for it to be finished!

I had my very first interior design consultation today and it went really well. I had originally expected the consultation to last about an hour, but talking to a client and hearing all of their design preferences can really eat up your time, haha. In total, the consultation lasted two and a half hours! I know, that seems like a lot, but it really did fly by. I’m so excited to get working on the designs for this scheme, though, and it’s great that my first client is one of my sisters-in-law, too.

I’m feeling very tired and frazzled right now because we’re still working on cutting chunks out of one of the cabinets. Anyway, that about sums up my day so I’m going to end this here and get back to supervising the installation of these shelves. By the way, I’m doing a Q&A video later this week so make sure to ask me questions! Check out VEDO #10 below and I’ll see you tomorrow!
