Another day of wintry weather means I am very chilly. I’m currently snuggled up on the sofa with a hot water bottle on top of my toes and the cosiest blanket in the house wrapped around me. Alex got me out of bed this morning to show me the snow as it flew through the grey sky. It was so cool to watch and I’m glad I got a few pictures of it. It almost looks like rain but in some shots you can see where snow and hail have accumulated on our garden furniture.
I’ve spent the whole day in the office working on some crafts for the concert next week. I made two of the pickets/hand fans and I’m going to make a couple more for some of my friends who are also going. In addition to the pickets, I also made some special little gifts for my BTS group chat and I’m really excited to give them to everyone! I’ll be able to give quite a few of them out in person next week, and the rest I’ll make sure to post in the mail soon. I’m really enjoying making all of these crafts! The Cricut has made my job so much easier, too.
I’m not sure what I’ll get up to this weekend! I’ve got a few new candle scents I’m testing out so when I decide on one of them I’ll need to design and order new labels. I think the new scent will debut in May, meaning that April’s Candle Club will be a cool preview for it. Speaking of my business, I also want to sit down and write messages to all of my candidates over the weekend to let them know my decision. I definitely want to make sure everyone I interviewed receives a personal message instead of just copy-pasting the same thing over and over. As I’ve said before, there were so many wonderful candidates and now I have the difficult task of only being able to hire one of them. I would really love to be able to bring more people onto the team in the future, though! So hopefully my new hire will help my business grow enough that I’ll be able to reach out to some of these talented people in the future.
But! It’s a Friday night and I’m itching to play some video games or do something fun and relaxing, so that’s my queue to wrap this up. See you tomorrow.
