We finally made our last trip to the dump!! Well, for now at least. All of the bags of soil and rocks have been cleared away along with the guilt of making our street look bad! Luckily most of the bags left were considerably less heavy that the last two trips and Alex managed to put the remaining fifteen or so in the car all by himself. I’m really glad that we took care of that! Now all that’s left is to dig out the weeds in the rest of the borders but honestly I’m just really impressed with how much we’ve managed to do in a week.
After we went to the dump we made a little pit stop at B&M to have a cheeky little browse and that’s where I fell in love with this ceramic mushroom bird feeder. I always enjoy watching the birds hanging out in the front garden but they don’t totally love the window bird feeder so I’d been starting to think about getting a hanging one for the sallow. And wouldn’t you know it? It matches the mushroom garden decorations Alex got for me last year! I’m absolutely tickled by this cute little mushroom moment I’ve created in the front garden. The jury’s still out on whether or not the house sparrows will actually use the new feeder, though.
