Last night I was feeling pretty stressed and ambivalent about having to go to bed. It seems like I’ve got “revenge sleep procrastination” which, honestly, yeah I do. We watched a movie in bed and that helped me feel like I wasn’t just going to bed because I had to get up and do work in the morning.
Today I had a meeting with my social media manager and basically we’re going to scale back some of the content for July and push it to August. I’m really glad I said something because I was honestly stressing myself out so much thinking about how I’m going to be able to do everything on my to do list. The meeting went so well and we filled in the gaps in our content schedule pretty easily, so I’m feeling loads better now. Afterwards I spent the rest of the afternoon working on graphic designs and other things that were on my to do list.
I also had a bath this morning which I do think was helpful. I was reluctant to wake up at ten so a warm bath was a nice incentive for me. Tomorrow I have dance class and I’m looking forward to it because the choreo was really fun to learn last week. Hopefully I’ll be able to put it all together and give a good performance, too!
