Sims 4 Saturday & Delicious Risotto

What better way to spend a Saturday than by playing Sims 4 for hours on end? If anything helps me clear my mind it’s got to be Sims 4. There’s something about controlling these characters’ lives that gives me peace of mind. Zoning out while building a house or creating a Sim to my exact specifications is such a great way to chill out. I know a lot of people rave about practicing ‘mindfulness’ but honestly playing Sims is just as good, plus I get to practice my interior design skills.

Tonight my husband and I are gonna be streaming a bit of Alien: Isolation over on Twitch and I’m really looking forward to it! Alien: Isolation is such a tense and stressful game that I literally have to switch the volume off or else I get too scared to do anything. Speaking of PlayStation 4 games, we finished the first chapter of Life is Strange the other day and I’m really looking forward to getting the rest of the chapters! That game was pretty stressful but obviously in a much different way than Alien: Isolation. It’s stressful to make decisions for characters that you’re not even sure you like, and to be trusted with their future is a lot to handle.

In other news, tonight we went had dinner with my husband’s sister and her boyfriend and also one of her friends. I brought over a ton of clothes for her to look through and I’m so glad that she found a few dresses and sweaters she liked! Getting rid of clothes is so difficult for me and it makes me so happy to know that they’ve gone to a good home. We had a really lovely vegetarian risotto for dinner and the nicest dark chocolate vegan brownies I’ve ever had! I’m absolutely stuffed and I have no regrets (although I probably could have done without a second helping of dessert…)

Anyway, I’ve got to get going now! We’re gonna be streaming on Twitch at 11pm BST! See you later!
