Yikes, I just tried to think of what I had accomplished today and it turns out that I really only spent the day watching videos on YouTube. I mean, I did make plans with my friend Mary for next week and I did get to the gym on time this afternoon but it really surprised me that I wasn’t really productive at all. Man, now I feel a little bummed! I guess my excuse is that I was taking some me time to just veg out on the internet in between modules. Yeah, let’s go with that.

Speaking of being productive, tomorrow I’m going to get cracking on the next module since I can access it already. The module hasn’t technically started yet but I figure I better get a jump on it if I want to finish before my birthday next month. I believe this module is all about creative lighting so hopefully I learn some useful tips and tricks! Our flat doesn’t have that many different lighting options apart from our LIFX bulbs and kitchen counter lights so perhaps I’ll end up applying some of that knowledge in the future.

Next week is shaping up to be the week of doing ALL the things and right now I’m okay with it! Mary will be coming to stay with us for a little over a week and I’m looking forward to hanging out with her while she’s still in the UK. Over the bank holiday weekend my husband and I will be going up to Manchester to visit our friends Jude and Ashley which should be an exciting time! I’ve never been to Manchester but I hear it’s really hip and happenin’ with the kids these days. Also next week we might be having a get together with the our neighbors to discuss some leasehold business, and on the same day I may even hear back about whether or not my tonsillectomy will receive funding.

So yes, lots will be happening next week, but luckily I don’t have to worry about the details for a few more days and I can just focus on what I need to do instead. Tomorrow at 3pm BST I’ll be livestreaming The Sims 4 on twitch for a few hours! Feel free to drop in and say hey!
