It might be too soon to make such a bold claim, but I’m just going to say it: I think the cats are beginning to get along. If my semi-restful night of sleep counts for anything than I think we’re well on our way to having two cats that tolerate each other!

In all seriousness, I actually slept pretty well last night and only woke up a few times towards the morning when Beatrice decided to climb into my nightstand and shout at me for food. Dolores wasn’t too much of a hassle, either! In fact, both of the cats have spent almost the entire day snoozing in the bedroom. At the same time, too! It was nice to walk in and see Dolores sprawled out on the foot of the bed while Beatrice curled up in her cat bed nearby, although that’ll probably mean they’ll both be up all night. Oh well! It was cute while it lasted.

So it’s officially the weekend, and what’s more is that I just submitted all four of my assignments and am looking forward to relaxing for a couple of days. In town this weekend there’s actually a lot going on. There’s something called “Heritage Open Days” which basically means there are a load of free events, so perhaps we’ll wander around tomorrow and see if anything looks like fun. On Sunday there’s a festival in Pippbrook which is just down the high street and I’d be keen to check it out. Some of the flyers I’ve seen posted in shops make it look at least semi-entertaining. I hope the weather isn’t too grey, though. I would really like to go to the park and check out the new jungle gym and zip-line that were recently installed! I mean, I may be turning twenty-five in a number of weeks but that doesn’t mean I don’t love a good jungle gym.

Other than that, I’ve spent most of my day playing around in The Sims 4. My recent build is a huge mansion, which is awesome but also incredibly time consuming. I’m thinking it’ll be the perfect pad for one of the households I’m trying to make rich, but it’s likely going to be super duper expensive by the time I’m done with it!
