Finished Assignments & Sims

Attention, attention! I finished off all of the assignments for my lighting design module, and they’re not even due until the 19th of September! The plan is to submit the assignments Friday evening so I have the weekend to relax, and then maybe sometime next week I’ll see if I have to resubmit anything before carrying on to the final module. I have to admit, I feel a bit smug about how much time I have left in the module. Not too shabby!

Today I had my weekly livestream on Twitch and, thankfully, it went really well. I had a nice crowd and it was fun to toil around as one of the households I’ve never played before. Actually, I can’t really think of the last time I casually played The Sims 4, so today’s livestream definitely reinvigorated my passion for the game. Maybe this weekend I’ll play a bit more and I think I could be convinced to stream some of it, too.

I wrote yesterday about how exhausted I was after letting Dolores run wild around the flat at night, and today isn’t that much better. It’s clear that there’s still a lot of work to be done in order for the cats to be totally okay together, but we’re seeing a lot of improvements already. I think Beatrice is growing more and more tolerant of Dolores, although Dolores still needs to learn to give Beatrice space. She’s so excited to play with another cat, but she’s engaging her in all the wrong ways. Eventually they’ll work it out, it’s just too bad they haven’t worked it out already.

All right, that’s all I’ve got for today. I’m really hoping I get a good night’s rest tonight but honestly I’m not totally convinced it’ll happen. If I wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed and well-rested then that’s great! And if not, pour me a cup of coffee and let me complain about it on twitter. See you tomorrow!
