Author’s Note: This journal entry was written on December 27th, 2022 however the photos are from the day itself.

We went over to the in-law’s house for Christmas and spent the night. Alex and I exchanged gifts at our house in the morning and we also opened the presents from my brothers. I was so touched to see that my younger brother got me a copy of Just Dance 2023 for the switch, as well as a BTS tote bag!! It really meant a lot that he thought to get me something BTS-related so I may have cried just a bit. I also cried a little later when Alex got me BTS’ Memories 2021 DVD set so it was a pretty emotional morning.

Anyway, we had a nice time at the in-laws. Dinner was tasty and then we exchanged gifts in the living room before having lots of cheese. I got some upsetting family news from my dad right around then that my grandma (the only living grandparent I have left) has pancreatic cancer. Oof. Not what you want to hear on Christmas. A little while after that Alex and I went up to go to sleep.
