Finally Beginning a Stress Journal

Today’s journal entry comes from the bathroom floor as Dolores climbs my shirt to attack my hair. Kittens are like babies — they scream, they poop, and they don’t understand how anything works. It’s a good thing kittens are cute, otherwise I don’t think it’d even remotely be worth it!

In unrelated news, we went to get my National Insurance number today. The interview where they get details about who you are and where you’re from was a little nerve-wracking. It felt more serious than when I had my spouse visa interview, which is saying something! Luckily the guy had a good sense of humor and everything went smoothly. After the appointment we got a bite to eat and then had a look around the shops in Woking. I had never been to Woking before today and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of shops. The town centre doesn’t have a lot of the charm I’m used to seeing in Surrey but it was refreshing to take a look around a new town.

When we were looking around in Tiger I picked up a little notebook to use as my stress journal. I’m really looking forward to cataloguing all of the things that stress me out and learning about the different ways I cope with all of them. I think it’ll be a good thing for me to practice writing in a stress journal, and maybe it’ll even help eliminate some of the stress in my life, too.

Tomorrow I’ve got to check in on my assignments and see if I’ve received my assessment. I’m sort of hoping I have more time before the next module begins but that still remains to be seen. I’m going to the gym tomorrow afternoon to work on my arms which should be a lot of fun! Honestly I’m just really looking forward to the weekend so we can do a bit of clothes shopping. Anyway, I better wrap this up and get to bed. See you tomorrow!
