Badminton and Boredom

Badminton seems like one of those sports that isn’t really a sport at all, but if you play it with the right people it’s easy to work up a sweat. From running back and forth to hit the birdie I came away from our badminton match with a pair of sore feet. Even though I didn’t win any of the matches on my own, I had a lot of fun playing the game. It was a good way to spend an hour, that’s for sure!

In other news, I found out today that the trades button for our building has stopped working, so now the post man has to ring my buzzer every morning to be let in. Last week an electrician came around to fix the buzzer for one of our neighbors and he actually ended up switching our buzzers and disabling the trades button. Basically, he messed everything up. Hopefully someone will be able to come out by the end of this week to fix the problem because I don’t want to have to be held responsible for buzzing in the post man every morning.

Now that I’m done with my assignments for my interior design course I do feel a bit lost. I spent a lot of time this morning watching videos and finding all of them extremely boring, and eventually I ended up playing The Sims 4 but that only worked for a short while before I became bored again. In October I’m planning on doing a video every day so at least I have that to look forward to in almost a week. For now I’ve just got to find something to occupy my time. Actually, now that I think about it I should probably give the flat a little scrub before the weekend rolls around.
